Classic Cars Show Pride in Vintage Car Rally:-

Promoter Sarvesh Goel of The Centrum Club along with Avadh Heritage Car Club organized a vintage car rally on Sunday. The rally saw an influx of one-to-one cars (such as Morris 1932, Pontiac, Willys, among others) on the main streets of the city from the old and classic cars rally. The rally started at Lohia Park in Gomti Nagar and ended at The Centrum Club.

Vintage Car Rally:-

Sarvesh Goel promoter of The Centrum organised a Vintage Car Rally in association with the Oudh Heritage Car Club, one of India’s oldest and most prestigious car rallies on Sunday. The rally featured some of the most stunning automobiles such as Morris-1932, Pontiac Parisienne-1965, Willys Jeeps, Austin A30 Packard, Mercedes, and Jaguar. The cars lined up at Lohiya Park, Gomti Nagar in the morning and were flagged off to turn traverse through a pre-selected route culminating at “Laburnum- The Centrum” followed by music and lunch. All the proud owners enjoyed the sunny winter morning, sumptuous lunch, and live music along with their family.

Vintage Beauties Make a Move:-

Old beauties were on a roll during the Vintage Car Rally held in the state Capital. From the 1932 Morris model to the 1965 Pontiac Parisienne model, Willys Jeeps, Austin A30 Packard, Mercedes, and Jaguar, the Vintage car turned every head as they moved along City roads.

The vehicles started from Lohia Park and covered a long stretch that culminated at The Centrum. Those present on the occasion included Sandeep Narain, Abdullah, Udaijit Singh, Captain A Chauhan, Surjit Uppal, Deep Narain, Keshav Mathur, Raman Batra, and Amit Gujjral.

On reaching the endpoint, the members of the Oudh Heritage Car Club and others were treated with music and lunch.

“The bright Sun, mild nip in the air, and vintage ride make this a memorable Sunday for all of us. After such a tough phase it’s so heartening to see such a good turnout,” said organiser Sarvesh Goel.

Asha Singh Creates National Record- Circuit Lucknow Run:-

Lucknow witnessed a proud moment during the first edition of ‘The Centrum Circuit Lucknow Run’ on Sunday, 31st January 2021, when 55-year-old Asha Singh created a record for running 114.7 km in the 12-hr category during the run. She became the first 55-year-old woman to have completed a run in this record time.
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th positions were conquered by Maya (98.1Km), Deepak Chillar (98.2 km), Dharamveer (98 km), and Sushant Kumar (97 km).

Asha Singh Broke the National Record in `The Centrum` Circuit Lucknow Run:-

Lucknow, Asha Singh The Centrum Club topped Lucknow Run. The race was attended by 150 athletes from across the country, covering a distance of 3 hours, 6 hours, and 12 hours. That is, the most distance traveled in this period will make him the winner. It was in the toughest race in which Mrs. Asha Singh became the champion by setting the highest 114.70 km in 12 hours.

He also broke the previous national record in this race. In this last year, in 12 hours last year, the runner from Chandigarh has run 112 km. It was built by keeping a distance. The race took place from Sushant Golf City on Sunday at GD Goenka Public School and the runners took part in a six-kilometer circuit between fog at 6:30 am.

Today, in the 12-hour range, Maya Thapa covered 98.1 km, second, Deepak Chillar covered 98 km, third, Dharma 96.8 km, fourth, Sushant Chaturvedi 95.4, and fifth Balbandar Kaur 95.3 km. He finished sixth in the distance.

Commissioner of Police (ADG) DK Thakur, Anil Kumar (Additional Chief Secretary- Home Guards Department), and Naveen Arora (Joint Commissioner of Police) distributed the awards.

The first-ever “The Centrum Circuit Lucknow Run” was held in Lucknow on Sunday. More than 150 participants from all over the country participated in the event spread over 3 hours Run, 6 hours Run, 12 hours Run and 50 km Run categories. Asha Singh broke the female national Record By completing 11 4.70 kilometers in In 12 hours Run category.

Circuit Lucknow Run on 31st, Preparations Complete:-

Under the aegis of GD Goenka School, Circuit Lucknow Run is being organized on 31 January. The organizing secretary of the event, Sarvesh Goel, said that as part of the race starting from The Centrum Club of Sushant Golf City, the runners will have to travel six km to reach the Sushant Golf City via GD Goenka School.

He said many national-level athletes are also participating in this race. Through this, the preparation of big events in the future will be tested. Complete preparations have been made for the safety and health of the players participating in this race. Government-issued guidelines to avoid corona infection will be fully followed. For this, a dozen people will be employed to monitor the program.

The purpose of the event is to make athletes realize their potential. In which the preparations for the big event in the future can be finalized. He told that during this period adequate arrangements have been made for the safety and health of the players. So that any untoward incident happened during the race. Also, all the guidelines of governance related to Covid-19 will be followed. At the conclusion, all participants will be given certificates in addition to the T-shirt from the organizing committee.

After the success of the “Lucknow Run” held in November last, preparations have started to organise “Circuit Lucknow Run” here on January 31st. The event is the brainchild of Sarvesh Goel who is himself a national-level runner and a fitness freak.

“In the circuit Lucknow Run, runners have to run in a 6 kilometre circuit for 12hours/ 6 hours/ 3 hours as per their choice where they can either Run alone or inspire others to run along with them in a team. A four-member team may participate in the relay category to engage more,” Sarvesh Goel, who is the promoter of a Lifestyle club “The Centrum” located in Sushant Golf City and the organiser of the event.

“Athletes professionals and fitness enthusiasts are participating in the event. The aim is to test the endurance capacity of runners participating in the event,” he added. To be held under the banner of “Lucknow Run” from 6 a.m. onward, the Circuit Run will start from “The Centrum” to GD Goenka Public School and back. The event also provides an opportunity for corporates and running groups that undertake such programs as a part of their training and fitness plans to encourage their runners.

After the success of the second edition of Lucknow Run, the circuit Lucknow Run is going to be held once for the awareness of fitness. In order to give a message of better health in 2021, many marathons of the country have participated in this marathon. This time a race is being organized in the city.

Chief organizer and national level runner Sarvesh Goel said that this session is interesting. If one does not want to run in a crowd then he/she will be allowed to cover the prescribed distance under the circuit race in 12, 6, and 3 hours.
