Fitness enthusiasts participated in Doublothon:-
An impressive turnout of fitness enthusiasts at Hindustan’s Doublothon. Fitness enthusiasts participated in Doublothon, organised by Hindustan, the prominent Hindi daily at the Marine Drive in Gomti Nagar on Sunday.
Cycle race and race were the highlights of the event in which fitness freaks, who wore colorful T-shirts and tracksuits, participated in large numbers.
While cyclists wore protective gear while riding bicycles, others simply warm-up exercises by the roadside.

At the Doublothon, aimed at creating awareness among the people about the need to stay fit, some participants were seen doing aerobics. T-shirts were distributed to the participants on behalf of Hindustan.
Lucknow Development Authority vice chairman Indramani Tripathi, chairman of GD Goenka Public School, Sarvesh Goel, DCP (north) Syed Qasim Abdi, ACP Gomtinagar Shweta Srivastava along with several other prominent people were present at the occasion.
Participants came from different parts of the city. For instance, Gayatri along with her son Chanakya and daughter Supriya reached the event from Indiranagar. Alok Kumar, an avid cyclist, arrived for the event, cycling all the way from Sarojini Nagar.
The fitness conscious said they came for the sheer joy of meeting people from different walks of life.
LDA VC Indramani Tripathi gave away medals and gifts to the winners.
