Vintage Wheels & Gourmet Feels: A Retro Brunch Affair at The Centrum, Lucknow
Amidst the landscaped lawns and sun-kissed ambiance of The Centrum, Lucknow’s premier luxury hotel and lifestyle destination, a unique event unfolded — a vintage car brunch that transported guests into an era of timeless elegance.
Organized by Sarvesh Goel, the visionary behind The Centrum, this retro-themed Sunday gathering welcomed Lucknowites to revel in nostalgia. From the sleek silver 1948 Jaguar Mark IV to the cheerful yellow 1949 Morris Minor, and a classic 1939 Fiat Topolino, each car told its own story of craftsmanship and heritage. The event beautifully complemented The Centrum’s architectural ethos — a blend of traditional Indian elements and contemporary design.
Guests, including familiar faces such as Seema and Jitendra Kumar, Lalita Goel, Pulkit and Charu, and BP Pant & Rashmi, dressed in their stylish best, posed against these restored beauties. The spirit of celebration was palpable as soulful live tunes by Kabir Singh Rajput filled the air, serenading guests with classics like Agar Tum Saath Ho, Senorita, and Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha.
Brunch at The Centrum is always a refined affair, but this event elevated it to an art form. The spread, expertly curated by the hotel’s culinary team, featured a fusion of Awadhi delicacies and continental favorites, embodying the city’s rich gastronomic legacy while celebrating global tastes.
Set amidst lush gardens and bathed in natural light — a hallmark of The Centrum’s eco-conscious design — the setting offered a picturesque blend of heritage and modern hospitality. As guests mingled and laughed over shared stories and shutter clicks, the brunch became more than an event. It was an experience, one that reflected The Centrum’s essence: a confluence of culture, community, and craftsmanship.
