A new flight of UP tourism with IATO from today. The campaign to take the tourism industry to heights in the state is starting from Friday. After 26 years, the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) is holding its 37th Annual Convention here. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the three-day event at 5 pm. Special Secretary Tourism Ashwini Pandey told reporters at Hotel Centum that the tourism department would play an important role in making the state a one trillion dollar economy. Despite having plenty of natural resources and tourist places, tourists come in small numbers, now this will increase. He told that seven crore tourists have visited Varanasi in a year, and this pace has to be increased. IATO President Rajeev Mehra said that around 1000 delegates from across the country will participate in the event which will be held from December 16 to 18. Odisha’s Tourism Minister Ashwini Kumar Patra, Maharashtra’s Tourism Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Secretary Civil Aviation Rajeev Bansal, Secretary of Tourism Central Government Arvind Singh, etc. are also coming in the end.
Tour operators will join forces to promote tourism in Lucknow:-
The four-day annual convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) begins on Friday. Giving information about this conference, the Chairman of Mansingh Goel Group and Promoter of The Centrum Hotel Mr. Sarvesh Goel said that 1. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate this conference. IATO President Rajeev Mehra, Program Coordinator Ravi Gosai, and Director of Tourism Department Prakhar Mishra were present at the press conference held on Thursday at a hotel located at Shaheed Path. At this conference, people from all over the country will gather to promote trade and tourism. Mr. Sarvesh Goel told that the tourism department declared The Centrum Hotel as a five-star hotel on Thursday before the conference. The move will give a boost to the Yogi government’s goal of making UP a trillion-dollar economy. Since the coming of the Yogi government, the state government is trying to reorganize UP as the best destination for investment and business in the country.
